Worst Equations in the
World
Radioactive Decay
A = O e -kt
Place the original amount
of
radioactive substance into O and its time constant into k.
The variable A will hold the resulting amount remaining after
time
t.
Warning: The variable k will vary depending on the time unit
used.
Fortunately, the value of k is directly proportional to the
time
unit. For example, the value of k needs to be 365 times larger
if
t
is in units of years than if it was in units of days.
Too Much Turmoil
T1 + T2 < D
T1 is
the amount of turmoil that person #1 is suffering from, while T2is
the amount of turmoil afflicting person #2. If T1 + T2
= D, then the result is at least one of the following: Severed
friendship,
major mental disturbance, and/or suicide! If
T1 + T2
= D, the resulting pain can be 2-3 times worse than the death
of
a loved one!!! This is not a joke!!!
Two Depressed Family Members
Depression2 = Despair
This equation shows what happens when there
are
two depressed family members living in the same residence. When
this
happens, GOD HELP YOU BOTH!
