Greetings of the Season!
Hard to believe but a little over a month from now we will be gathering for our 31st Annual Tournament! We are returning to St. Louis to start our 4th decade of this great event. Our 2020 tournament will be held in the St. Louis area January 17-19, 2020 with fun doubles on January 16. Tournament director Shari Coplen has some special events planned for our return to the St. Louis area, where the WSMRA was actually formed at our 4th Annual tournament in 1991. (The 1993 tournament director was Karen Venditti assisted by Bev Powell and it was held at Ballwin Racquetball & Fitness)
2020 Highlights include:
„ The Tournament club is Vetta Racquet Sports Concord. ItÕs a great facility with 10 courts, and the General Manager is Dan Whitley, President of USARacquetball.
„ A tour of St. Louis on Thursday, Jan 16th from 9 am Š 1 pm. Clydesdales! The Arch! Historical Sites! Email Shari at slc314@aol.com to reserve a spot. Come early and enjoy!
„ Fun doubles to benefit breast cancer research on Thursday, Jan 16 from 3:30-5:30 pm with girls from the Missouri High School Program. (Tournament Check-in and the group picture will follow doubles, so be there!)
„ Silent auction to benefit MO GirlsÕ HS Racquetball and the WSMRA. Donations are always welcome and appreciated, contact me or Shari for how to donate or bring items along.
„ Saturday banquet on Jan 18 featuring St. Louis style food buffet, fun trivia contest and of course music and dancing!
„ The host hotel is the beautiful Hilton Frontenac- Shuttle service to club from this hotel only. The hotel also has an airport shuttle service. Please Reserve by Dec. 27 using this link:
