The 1930 "ST124" issue has ink spots on either the Left and/or Right outer frame line which are in a varying degree of difficulty to see. This issue is a bright violet color unlike the prior 1922 version "ST115" which is a grey violet color.

Some frame line spots can be fairly easy to see (top set of images), some are harder (middle set of images), and some are quite difficult to see the spots (bottom set of images).

The key factors to see the spots are good lighting, very high magnification, and patience!

ink spots on left frame - fairly EASY to see  ink spots on right frame - fairly EASY to see  "easier"

ink spots on left frame - slightly harder to see  ink spots on right frame - slightly harder to see  "moderate"

ink spots on left frame - somewhat difficult to see  ink spots on right frame - somewhat difficult to see  "difficult"
