This Edward is probably the son of John and Eleanor Bogard Brown, who settled on Broad Run, n ow Lewis Co., from Hampshire Co. before 1778. His sister married Balser Flesher, and his bro ther John J. married Margaret Carpenter, daughter of Nicholas; their daughter married Willia m Radcliff and their four sons all married daughters of Samuel and Susannah Radcliff Stalnake r.
