There are currently two basic pathways for getting to Coupeville by road: from the north, over the Deception Pass Bridge, via WA Route 20, from the southeast via the Mukilteo-Clinton Ferry and WA Route 525 followed by 20. There is a ferry from Port Townsend on the Olympic Peninsula which lands only five miles south of Coupeville, but, due to state budget constraints, this ferry is a passenger-only affair. Someday soon we hope to see the car ferry service restored, which will allow folks to drive to Coupeville with ease from the Olympics. The link below takes you to a Google map site which will allow you to plot directions to our Inn from your starting point. Note: from Metro Seattle, the Deception Pass Bridge route to Coupeville involves about 50 more driving miles than the ferry route, but of course the ferry fare needs to be factored in, and, in the busy summer season, there can be an extensive waiting line at Mukilteo. It's always wise then to consult with the Ferry System either by phone or at their web site.
