"Hello There In Amateur Radio Land. I Was Asked To Write A Few Lines About Ham Radio And
How It Influenced My Life."
"Since my working career has been cut short by the diagnosis of Crohn's disease
and A.L.S.....I "might" be considered a "shut in" ....but let me tell you that, with the inclusion of amateur radio in my
life, that couldn't be farther from the truth! I have made many friends around the country that i enjoy visiting with each
and every day. Ham radio has kept me quite good company thruout the days here in my "station'. I can be
found most mornings on 3.976 mhz.LSB. visiting with a great bunch of guys both sighted and non-sighted alike. Topics of discussion
are as varied as the people who stop by the freq.
Stop by yourself and see what i mean...and I also hope to hear you on the 146.940 mhz. rptr. here in West
Branch as often as you can get on the air. Thank GOD for ham radio and folks like YOU! "
