Adventures in Switzerland
On our 2000 trip, we traveled by the narrow gauge
Berner Oberland Bahn (BOB for short) from Interlaken to Lauterbrunnen. Here,
we boarded a funicular for a short ride to Grutschalp, where we boarded
another narrow gauge train, running on the cliff top, for the ride to Murren.
Our first day in Murren was beautiful, but then the weather moved in, so
we spent the next two days hiking in the valley below Murren, ending up
in Interlaken both days.
