October 1 - 10, 2005 Bradwood will be holding it's Timber Frame Workshop. Our instructors for this project will be Dave Carlon and Josh Jackson. We will be building a Monitor style barn from white pine. The frame will be cut by the students using square rule and scribe methods. We will be joining square to square, round to square, round to round, and curved pieces. We will also incorporate scarf and spline joints and cover repair joints for those of you that have an interest in barn preservation.
