 Patient Account Representative / Billing Office 2 / Patient Registration Quality Review

Three Rivers Dermatology, Ft. Wayne, IN          2004 – current

v      Provide Quality Review/ Error identification and correction for Patient Registration area insuring all demographics and Insurance billing information is correct prior to filing the claim.

v      Accurate posting of insurance payments from EOB’s as well as adjustments and withhold amounts if applicable.

v      Discovery and procurement of aged Insurance AR.  Claim delay discovery and payment tracking.

v      Training / Continued training of Patient Registration personnel in identifying proper insurance elements such as Subscribed Networks, Repricers, Payors as well as Carrier and TPA’s

v      Patient Relations as it relates to Insurance billing questions or claim filing accuracy.

v      Identify and corrected incorrect claims from 2002-2004 that were previously filed incorrectly.  This resulted in a 92% reduction in  45+ day aged Insurance balances within first 8 weeks of employment.

v      Scheduling of Patient appointments and procedures, make appointment reminder calls as needed.

v      Initiated claim appeals as necessary or otherwise directed.
