Edgerton Historical Society
members have been working hard for
the last few months cleaning,
painting, reparing and organizing
for their new museum. The
museum is located in the new
Edgerton Village building which is
the former Edgerton High School.
Village officials designated the
room for the museum late last
summer. The room has been
carpeted and painted, and members
are moving items salvaged from the
destroyed town hall and opera
house into the museum. The
museum is open the fourth Monday
of each month or by appointment.

The Edgerton Historical Society reorganized in the fall of 2007 after the original organization dissolved several years
ago. We usually meet on the fourth Monday of each month in the Edgerton
Village Hall on North Michigan Avenue,
Edgerton, Ohio. The meetings start at 7 P.M. and usually last no later than 8:30.
Between 30 and 60 people gather each month to hear guest speakers, view historic Edgerton photos, view historic Edgerton
artifacts from individual collections, and discuss Edgerton's colorful history.
Our new museum, located in the
same building, is open before and
after these meetings.
Anyone who is interested in
the history of Edgerton is
welcome to attend the
meetings. Call for
specific dates and times.
