Bittersweet and Briers is a folk music band featuring traditional British Isles, Celtic, and American music played on hammered dulcimer, mandolin, banjo-mandolin, Irish whistle, guitar, bodhran spoons and vocals.  The group is based in West Lafayette and Noblesville, Indiana, and has played together since 1992. B&B has played in many area festivals including The Feast of the Hunter’s Moon, The Indiana Fiddlers’ Gathering, Johnny Appleseed Festival, 12th Night and Victorian Balls, White River Folk Fest at Conner Prairie, Civil War Days at Hartford City, The Indiana Gourd Show, and the Indiana State Historical Museum’s History Fest.
