Dr. Ginny Johnson is a licensed psychologist. She received her doctorate in clinical psychology from Boston University.
She was trained and practiced in Massachusetts for over 30 years, moving to Washington state in 2004. She has practiced in a variety of settings, including community mental health centers, inpatient hospitals
and private practice.
She enjoys working with clients of all ages, helping them to identify their goals and live more fulfilling lives. She appreciates the many stresses facing families and individuals these days. She likes to work together with clients, learning and applying strategies to reduce
the pain caused by anxiety, depression and difficult life circumstances. She
values the opportunities she has with clients to explore their lives and relationships, focusing together to find ways of
mobilizing the resourcefulness within all of us to cope with stress and life changes.
She treats the following problems:
· ADHD/ADD as well as other developmental and neurological
problems
· Couples experiencing relationship distress
· Children/families including stepparenting issues, family change stress and behavior
problems
· Anxiety and depression in children and adults
· Parenting and child development problems
