Dr. Heather Ogilvy, a licensed clinical psychologist, has over thirty years
experience as a psychotherapist helping people find their natural resilience and health in the face of life's challenges.
Her doctoral degree is from The Wright Institute at Berkeley, California. She completed her clinical internship at The Children's
Hospital at Stanford University where her training emphasis was in child and family psychotherapy. She also holds a Masters
in Public Health from Yale University School of Medicine, emphasizing psychotherapy work with adults, individually and in
groups, as well as consultation and training for organizations. She is a member of the American Psychological Association
Dr Ogilvy provides brief, intermediate and long-term treatment. Her treatment
style is interactive, both in play therapy with children and collaborative psychotherapy with adults. Her work with couples
is based on a blend of approaches and designed to meet the needs of the specific couple. She particularly enjoys working (and
playing) with young children and their parents.
