Chocolate Ribbon Pie

Another magazine find, this one is from a Kraft foods ad. Combining a no-bake cheese cake and pudding, this desert is delicious and easy to make. Check out the Kraft Foods web site for more recipes.

Variations:
For variety, try one or more of the following:

  • Use another flavor of pudding. Pistachio or white chocolate are good.
  • Add bits of chopped candy or cookies.

  Chocolate Ribbon Pie

Ingredients:
  • 4 oz. Cream cheese, softened.
  • 2 Tbsp. milk.
  • 1 tub (8oz.) Non dairy whipped topping, thawed.
  • 1 9" Chocolate Graham Cracker Pie Crust .
  • 2 cups cold milk.
  • 2 Pkgs. (4 serving size ) Instant Chocolate flavor Pudding and Pie filling.
Directions:
  1. Beat cream cheese, sugar and 1 tablespoon milk in a large bowl until smooth. Gently stir in ½ the whipped topping. Spread on the bottom of crust.
  2. Pour 2 cups of milk into a large bowl. add pudding mixes. Beat with a wire whisk for 2 minutes. (mixture will be thick). Pour over cream cheese layer.
  3. Refrigerate for 4 hours or until set. Just before serving, spread remaining whipped topping over pudding layer. Garnish with shaved chocolate or chocolate curls.
  4. Makes 8 servings.
