This pony mare, Ginger, a welch/hafflinger cross taught our children how to ride and trust horses.

Here are our children.

Here we are all together.

Our Favorite Things
We found our farm in 1997 after 18 years of living down on the Eastern Test Range, secluded and away from civilization.
We started with 3 Arabians that winter and bred the mare in the spring. Shortly after she was bred we discovered
we had our own baby on the way. Our daughter was followed by our son two years later. I then decided
I had to find a more laid back breed and did some research. I decided to try Icelandics and Rocky Mountains. I
have found them both to be much easier to handle and safer around young children. I don't know if I will continue with
both breeds but may opt for one or the other eventually.
We absolutely love it here and our roots are growing deep.
