We are starting a new pointing lab kennel to breed and train pointing labs.  We are located on the west side of Portland, Oregon near the Rock Creek which flows into the Tualatin River.  We do most of our dog training and upland bird hunting near the Rock Creek which flows into the John Day River south of Arlington, Oregon.  Therefore the Rock Creek name.

 

Our signature dog is a three year old chocolate lab named Maggie May.  She is from Snake River Pointing Labs in Heyburn, Idaho.  She obtained her American Pointing Labrador Association (APLA) Certified Pointing Retreiver (CPR) title in May, 2007 at the APLA hunt test in Ronan, Montana.

 

Update 6/13/2008:

Our first litter with Maggie was born on 4/9/2008.  The pups are now 9 1/2 weeks old.  We have sold three,  one shipped to Boston, one to New Mexico and one to the Seattle area.  I am keeping one male.  So we have three beautiful females left.   They are great dogs and should be great hunting companions.  See the "Picture Gallery" page for pictures of the three females.
