Process and Payment Procedures

 

All services must be made via phone or in person and preferably one week before your scheduled departure.  No email or voice mail bookings will be accepted; however, please feel free to notify us via phone or email to arrange an initial contact.  First-time clients should call at least 2 - 3 weeks before departure to allow time for a Meet & Greet and complete required paperwork.  For holidays and months June through September, please call four weeks in advance, if possible, to ensure our availability.  For last minute needs, such as business trips or funerals, please call as soon as you know your schedule, and we will make every attempt to accommodate your needs.  It is always best to reserve our services as soon as you finalize your plans.  

 

PROCESS AND PAYMENT PROCEDURES

 

MEET AND GREET (First-Time Clients)

This is a free get acquainted visit for first-time clients.  At this time, I will introduce myself to you and your pet.  It is important that you are comfortable with me and can see how I interact with your pet.  Should you decide to book my services at that time, I will have you complete all the necessary paperwork.  In addition, I will label and get your keys.  Please allow approximately 1-1/2 to 2 hours for this process.  If you require more time to complete the forms, I can leave them with you or schedule another meeting.  Additional visits are recommended if you have extensive pet care needs or a timid or slightly aggressive pet.  A 50% deposit for all services is due no later than two days before your departure.  The balance will be due on the final day of service unless other arrengements are made.  If an emergency arises with the pet owner, there will be no deposit refunds for cancellations made within 48 hours of departure.  First time clients may pay via cash, money order or certified check.  No credit card processing available.   

 

UPDATE VISIT (Repeat Clients)

This is a free get reacquainted visit for repeat clients.  At this time, I will update information, complete any new forms and interact with your pet if necessary.  I will label and get your keys.  Please allow at least one hour for this process.  Unless an open-ended agreement has been established or other arrangements made, a 50% deposit for all services is due no later than two days before your departure.  The balance will be due on the final day of service unless other arrangements are made.  If an emergency arises with the pet owner, there will be no deposit refunds for cancellations made within 48 hours of departure.  Cash, money orders, certified checks and personal checks accepted (personal checks at the discretion of the sitter and based on payment history).  No credit card processing available.
