We have lived in Galva since 1996, before that we lived
where ever the Army sent us. WE have 3 teens Lukas, Jordan & cassandra. I stay at home & my husband Randy works at
the Peoria Air Guard.
I never intended to breed pugs in 2000 I bought Pugslee
for Valentines Day & I still have him. In March 2002 I was offered a female pug Makayla she was just 2 years old. On May
24th `02, 7 pug puppies were born. Since then she had 3 more litters. May
28th 2003 Lola was born from Makayla & Pugslee. We kept her so then there were 3.Pugslee & Makayla have
been fixed & now they enjoy laying on the couch & barking at the mailman. On December 19th 2004 WE purchased
Oreo my 1st black pug. He is such a lover boy. On August 6th 2005 Lola & Oreo had their 1st litter 4 puppies 2 male
1 black & 1 fawn & 2 female also 1 black & 1 fawn. They had 1 more litter of 5, April 9th 2006. I thought that we were done breeding pugs. Then in November
we adopted Penny a 4 yr. old pug who had been raised in kennels & cages & used for breeding only. She is so cute
short & round. she is a couch potato & has learned how to be a dog. A couple weeks later we purchased 1 more pug, a black female,5 months
old, Nico. A house with 6 pugs & 3 kids & my husband who said YES to getting each pug. The couches were
getting to full !!! So, we have found good homes for Penny, Makayla & Lola, I miss them & if I could have
lots more pugs I would, but it cost too much & we would go crazy!!!
