You
can understand why LOST CAUSE has been accused of having a severe case of multiple
personality disorder. That also holds true for the diverse personalities that make up this entertaining band. Whitney (lead vocals, guitar, saxophone) is a walking encyclopedia of rock and roll who likes to be challenged
to play your requests. Vicki (lead vocals) is a treat for the eyes and ears as
she fronts the band. Chuck (bass guitar) keeps the bottom moving as he watches
the young girls. Monty (guitar and vocals) keeps the audience on their feet in
his role as ‘Mr. Entertainment’. David (percussion and vocals) lays
down a solid beat for dancing with the one you love. BJ (keyboards
and vocals) is never bashful behind his doo-rag and shades.
Our Story...
Lost Cause is a Charleston-Teays Valley, WV based classic rock party band.
Whether upbeat dance songs, soothing ballads, rock anthems, or current hits, you never know what might come next on
the ‘Cause set list. Using
a mix of multiple guitars, keyboards, a saxophone, and maybe even a kazoo, the ‘Cause provides a diverse mix of sounds. Top that with a featured female lead vocalist, and some uninhibited showmanship, and
you have a classic rock party band!
All the members of Lost
Cause do have professional careers outside of music,
and their spouses insist they keep them! While these pros play for the fun and
the thrill, they are serious about their performances. Being professionals they
are very good at showing up on time and collecting their money, oh they are very good at that!
For performances open to the public Lost Cause has a large following of groupies
and ne’er-do-wells who will make your club look really full. We
go to great lengths to teach our club crowds the band motto,
“The more you drink, the better we sound!”
For
private functions, weddings, charities, and fundraiser, we present ourselves as The Cause. While the name Lost Cause better fits our aspirations to become rock stars, we caved to political correctness for fans wanting us to support
their……causes!
