From learning clarinet in 5^th grade from Walter Suchanek to playing guitar and singing with the mighty Lost Cause Band is a long strange journey which might be a great movie if you could put Harrison Ford in it and add a bunch of car chases.

 Unfortunately it’s really just a tale of a musical mercenary playing wherever there was a gig – jazz at weddings, some polkas for Oktoberfest, a little Dixieland on a riverboat, bars, musicals, nightclubs, classical concerts, jazz festivals, front porches, back porches, more bars, toured the U.S.S.R., and played at a state fair next to the World’s Largest Pig to name but a few. 

 I am actually a saxophone player in real life (see www.bigplanetsoul.com) but what could be more fun than drinking Guinness and playing a few crazy songs with my wife and friends in Lost Cause!
