MRS. JENNIE (WILD) KAVANAUGH DIES
Mrs. Jennie (Wild) Kavanaugh died at 11:30 Monday morning July 20, at the Chillicothe hospital where she had been critically ill two weeks.
Mrs. Kavanaugh, a daughter of Robert C. Wild and Mary Ann (Hitter) Wild, was born in Millville, near Richmond, on March 17, 1869. She had attended Chillicothe Normal school and was a member of the Christian church at Richmond.
On Dec. 14, 1892, she was married to Lee D. Kavanaugh at Antioch church near Richmond. They were the parents of two daughters and three sons.
Mrs. Kavanaugh was preceded in death by her husband on April 2, 1928; by two sons. Robert Kavanaugh, who died in infancy, and Hugh Wild Kavanaugh, who died on Nov. 29, 1913, and by a daughter, Edythe Lynn Rust, Hardin, on August 21, 1952.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Lloyd Flenniken, ' Mooresville; a son Edmund L. D. Rust, Alamosa, Colo.; two brothers, Duke Wild and Tobe Wild, Richmond; four grandchildren, Margaret Rust of Liberty, Ed. L. Rust of Hardin, and Sally Kavaraugh and Margaret Kavanaughof Alamosa, Colo.; two greal-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Kavanaugh had been residing with Mrs. Kittle Elliott of 1521 Clay street for the past five years.
Funeral services for Mrs. Kavanaugh were under the direction of the Clark Funeral Home, Cowgill, at 2 o'clock this afternoon. Burial was in the Cowgill cemetery. [Chillicothe Constitution-Tribune | Chillicothe, Missouri | Thursday, July 23, 1964 | Page 11]
