Band costs a lot of money!
How do we pay for it???
By
far, the best fundraising opportunity is the regular purchase of Scrip!
What’s Scrip?
· “Scrip” (no "t") is a fancy word for “Gift Cards”.
· When you purchase Scrip for a particular business, you are buying (dollar for dollar) Gift Cards for that business,
which you then spend just like cash.
· Each participating business rebates to the Scrip program a set percentage of the amount purchased, which is then credited
to your student’s account. And it really piles up!
· Your student account manager keeps track of what has been credited. And all student account money is used by each
Band student for Band-related expenses, such as fees, buying a tuner, or even a trip!
So how’s it work?
· Send a check and a completed Scrip Order Form (just click on the link on McKee's Band Page! Home Page!) to school
on Monday – turn them in at the THS Reception Office.
· Pick up your Scrip on Thursday – Band students in the Music Hall
immediately after school.
· That’s it! It’s so easy! Want to know more? Ask Lisa Bussey
or Kati McKee. We’ll show you the way!
