We are blessed with a staff of 12 wonderful ladies.
All of our ladies attend different churches, different denominations,
but we all serve the same God!
Our Director is Mary Carol McCoy. She has attended Portsmouth First Church of the Nazarene since 1983. In 1987,
she joined the staff of Kiddieland, and has been here every since. In 2001, she completed her classes and became the
director.
Our Office Manager is Gina Harris. Her husband pastors a Free Will Baptist church in Wheelersburg. She began
working at Kiddieland in June 2003, and became office manager in September 2004.

Tanya Bailey and Julie Lewis are our nursery workers.
Tanya Bailey also attends Portsmouth First Church of the Nazarene. She began working at Kiddieland in August 2002.
She began in the 3 year old room, and then moved to the nursery in 2004. She is married and has two boys. One is a Kiddieland
graduate, and the other is in our 4 year old class.
Julie Lewis attends The Kingdom Builders church in Portsmouth. She had worked in childcare before, and started
with us in February 2002 as a Toddler Room teacher. In February 2005 we had an opening in our Nursery, and Julie filled
it. Julie is married with 2 daughters (one is a Kiddieland graduate, both attend our summer schoolager program), a son
in our toddler room.
No two women could be better with our babies, or love them more.
In our toddler room, we have 3 ladies taking care of our kids. The head teacher is Jennifer Scarberry. She began
here at Kiddieland in January 2001. She also had been in child care before, and does a wonderful job with the toddlers.
Jennifer is married and has 1 teenage son, 1 daughter who is a Kiddieland graduate, and 1 baby girl in our Nursery. She attends
7th Street Christian Baptist Church.
Sarah Wolfenbarger and Amanda Montgomery are our other two toddler workers. Sarah attends Swauger Valley Free Will
Baptist Church, and attends Shawnee State University. She and Amanda were hired weeks apart in February 2005.
They are best friends, and work very well together. Amanda attends Oswego Community Church. The kids love them both
very much.
Erica Estep is our newest addition at Kiddieland. She was hired in February 2006. She works part time
here, and part time at Praises Bible Bookstore. She fit in very nicely here with the employees and with the children.
She worships at New Boston Church of the Nazarene.

Our preschool program starts withour three year old room. The teacher is Kimberly Ison. She began working
here in December of 2001. She has always worked with the preschool, but this year she is lead teacher of the Three's
class, and she is doing a wonderful job! The kids really want to please her, and she has a great personality for dealing
with them. She is also a member of the New Boston Church of the Nazarene.
Our Four year old class has a couple of new teachers. Ruth Musick was hired in November of 2005, and Zella
Evans was hired in February 2006. The kids are adjusting nicely, and our teachers are doing well. Ruth is a member
of 7th Street Christian Baptist and Zella attends Christ Community Church in Portsmouth.
Lisa George is our longest lasting employee, other than our director. She began working here in May of 1993. She
left here for a year in 1997, and came back in 1998. During her first time of employment here at Kiddieland she went
through a battle with cancer, while taking chemo, she was here everyday taking care of the kids, when someone should have
been taking care of her. God blessed her, and she's been cancer free since 1996. Lisa makes the kids lunches everyday,
(which doesn't sound hard, but when she's off one day, you find out how hard it is!) and spends the evening with the kids
during free play. The kids wouldn't know what to do without her! Lisa is crurrently attending Highland Bend Christian
Baptist Curch.
