Narcism is marked by a love for ones self. The term comes from the Greek mythology
about Narcissi, a man so in love with himself that he killed himself. There are many variations to this story as to why he
killed himself. The most common stories relate to unrequited love and the fear of growing old and losing his beauty.
Even though this mans name is used as an expression of great vanity or self
love to the greatest extremes also marked by apathy toward others, it did not begin with him.
In fact it began with another well know figure in history called Lucifer, or
the devil. The name Lucifer deals with outer beauty for it means light bearer
and he was so beautiful.
The name Devil pertains to inward ugliness and hatred. This is the end product
of all who love themselves. They begin to hate others.
These people are known as Narcist, devils and luciferian. They are know by
there selfishness, vanity and apathy toward others. God commonly refers to these people as prideful, or full of pride. Just
as Lucifer, these people suffer from a god complex also known as autotheism or the worship of self as god. In history we would use the examples of the pharaohs, Caesars and czars. These people commonly thought that
they were equal to the gods and superior to all mankind. They were evil dictators like Hitler and would destroy and oppress
the lives of others without remorse, guilt or concern. The bible refers to this heart mentality as the carnal mind, the mind
of the flesh and the natural man. There is absolutely no end or limitation to the evil, or hurt, these people will do to one
another. There easy to recognize in time. They appear as good, caring friends in the beginning to win your affections but
afterwards they begin to show their true inward character. They can only hide their wolf in sheep clothing for just so long.
They are outwardly beautiful but inwardly ugly and corrupt.
The narcistic minded people live by a five point philosophy.
- Look out for number one.
- If it feels good, do it.
- If it looks good, do whatever
it takes to get it.
- If it sounds good, self promoting,
believe it.
- If anyone gets in my way,
eliminate them.
These people are lovers of self, pleasure, beauty, the glory and praise of
others, the high seats, wealth and power. They want to be god and accountable to no one. In fact, if they could, they would
kill God, just as they killed Jesus, the Son of God.
This mentality is being promoted in the world through the doctrines of evolution
and secularism. The churches are also promoting this mentality through doctrines such as easy believism, carnal Christianity,
imputed righteousness and eternal security. Just come as you are, believe that Jesus is the Son of God and say the sinners'
prayer. In this doctrine repentance is just apology, faith is knowledge and there is no freedom from obeying sin, just freedom
from the consequence of sin.
Here are the fruits of Narcism: Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envying, murders, drunkenness and
reveling. They which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom
of God. Galatians 5:19-21.
If God evicted Lucifer out of heaven for this wickedness of heart, what makes
you think that you can live this way and enter in? Oh, I forgot to tell you: This is who we are! This is the mind that is
within all men, women and children. There is only one way to overcome ourselves and live. We must take up our cross to follow
Jesus or we can't be his disciple. This carnal man must be crucified, put to death. It is a walk of shame to the world but
a walk of honor and integrity before God. Integrity of heart is what Jesus walked in and commanded us to follow after. I will
show you the four pillars of integrity:
- Love-Value
- Faith-Loyalty
- Truth-Honesty
- Humility-No self love
You have only one of two choices to follow.
- You will repent of loving
yourself to love God and live
- You will remain the same inwardly
and be cast down.
For God resist the proud, but gives grace to the humble.
Ezekiel 28: 11Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
12Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest
up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. 13Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone
was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald,
and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast
created. 14Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the
holy mountain of God; thou hast walked
up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. 15Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast
created, till iniquity was found in thee. 16By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee
with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain
of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones
of fire. 17Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness:
I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee. 18Thou hast defiled thy
sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffic; therefore will I bring forth a fire from
the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold
thee. 19All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never
shalt thou be any more.
Isaiah 14: 10All they shall speak and say unto thee, Art thou also
become weak as we? art thou become like unto us? 11Thy pomp is brought down to the grave, and the noise
of thy viols: the worm is spread under thee, and the worms cover thee. 12How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer,
son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! 13For thou hast
said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount
of the congregation, in the sides of the north: 14I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like
the most High. 15Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.
