Faith vs. Theory
Faith vs. Theory
The suggestion was given to me to do a
blog on the comparison or contrast to faith and theory. In the analysis of data, I have found more varying definitions to
these two words than all the words defined in any given dictionary (exaggerated statement of course). This explains so much
of the confusion and arguing going on today between the secular, scientific, and religious, creationist, communities today.
Both parties of the argument are using the same terms in at least two totally different defining ways.
There are the secular definitions for these
two terms and religious definitions, and the two shall never meet, unless a common definition is settled on.
Faith
is believing what you know ain't so. --Mark Twain.
This statement seems to sum up what
most secularists believe faith is: To believe without reason or evidence. As for myself, I have never met anyone of any religion that didn’t have a reason to believe what they did or
weren’t persuaded by some argument. It doesn’t mean that they are correct, just persuaded. I see the same thing every day
in this society, many people persuaded by some argument to believe things on the basis of an argument more so than the facts
of an argument, and it has nothing to do with religious dogma. I also see this
taking place within the scientific community. It’s seems the argument is more important than the facts anymore. Many times
you will find this happening in a court of law when the jury is provided with only circumstantual, indirect, evidence apart
from direct, eye witness, testimony. This is not just a religious, secular or legal problem. It has become the philosophy
of todays society. Facts, evidence and truth are no longer the measuring stick of belief. The new measuring stick has become
who is telling the better or most believable story and don’t confuse me with the facts! It is relevent to this discusion to
state that this discription has nothing to do with what faith is.
Lets start with the word truth. Truth is synonimous with the word reality. It is what it is regardless of seeing,
understanding, perception or belief. Truth is an unchangible fact. These two terms, truth and fact, are relative to each other
in the context that truth doesn’t change and niether do facts. What is changible are the conclusions derived from the facts.
The more facts you have the easier it is to draw the correct conclusion or truth. Also the less facts you have
the more difficult it is to draw the correct conclusion or truth. This pertains to both direct, empirical evidence, and indirect,
circumstantial, evidence. And this is where theory and faith come into unity: What you conclude the facts to represent as
truth, is both your theory and your faith. It’s what you believe the truth to be.
Throughout my life what I have believed has changed. The more I learned about a subject coupled with what I personally
experienced has had a great influence on what I believe to be the truth. Some facts changed and some didn’t change, so did
my conclusions as more information and facts have been gathered. In this context faith and theory should agree. Where faith
parts with theory is where the facts keep changing and the theory doesn’t or the theory keeps changing when the facts don’t.
With faith, if the facts change so does the faith.
This brings us to the point about true fact versus fabricated facts. As I stated previously truth and fact are
relevent to each other in that niether change. So what happens when the facts change? They were never true! This is called
supplanting of evidence: to take the place of another especially by force or trickery. This is also called a lie or revision:
to look over something written in order to correct, improve or make a new version of.
This is common today in theology, science, law and relationships. Communication of information is the primary key
to undertanding, learning, reasoning and deceiving. The modern day press and publication of books with mass distribution,
as well as the internet, has increased the ability of writers to inform and to decieve the populas on a greater scale than
ever known in previous history.
Every debate, such as in the court of law, there are opposing sides of an argument. Each side present their evidence
in the form of an argument with prejudice, which sometimes can lead to a very heated debate. Each party of the debate will
provide supporting evidence to their argument and contradicting evidence against the other party. At the end of the argument
a judgement must be made by weighing the evidence for and against each argument. In the judging process justice must be blind
without bias of the parties involved. This should be the same consideration given to any argument. The goal is to find the
objective truth not prove a subjective conclusion. This is where faith and theory should be in unity, but unfortunately theory
is not.
In the text below I will show a comparison of theory to the scientific method. What I have realized is that objective
faith is more consistant with the scientific method than subjective theory is, and all theory is subjective. When either theory
or faith is subjective, it is blind and abandons reason for the purpose of self promotion. This is where the phrase below becomes truth.
Faith
and theory are believing what you know ain't so. –Ken Tyner
The word theory has a number of distinct meanings in different fields of knowledge, depending on their methodologies and
the context of discussion.
In science, a theory is a mathematical
or logical explanation, or a testable model of the manner of interaction of a set of natural phenomena, capable of predicting
future occurrences or observations of the same kind, and capable of being tested through experiment or otherwise falsified
through empirical observation. It follows from this that for scientists "theory" and "fact" do not necessarily stand in opposition.
For example, it is a fact that an apple dropped on earth has been observed to fall towards the center of the planet, and the
theories commonly used to describe and explain this behavior are Newton's theory of universal gravitation, and general relativity.
In common usage, the word theory is often
used to signify a conjecture, an opinion, or a speculation. In this usage, a theory is not necessarily based on facts; in
other words, it is not required to be consistent with true descriptions of reality. This usage of theory leads to the common
incorrect statement "It's not a fact, it's only a theory." True descriptions of reality are more reflectively understood as
statements which would be true independently of what people think about them. In this usage, the word is synonymous with hypothesis.
Scientific method is a body of
techniques for investigating phenomena, acquiring new knowledge, or correcting and integrating previous knowledge. It is based
on gathering observable, empirical and measurable evidence subject to specific principles of reasoning. A scientific method
consists of the collection of data through observation and experimentation, and the formulation and testing of hypotheses.

Evolution: Science or Religion?
Evolution: Science or Religion? Category: Religion and Philosophy
Pan

The Original Transitional Species
The son of Khaos (Cosmology, elements) and Gaia (earth, chemistry), Pan was
the Greek god of shepherds and flocks, of mountain wilds, hunting and rustic music.
Not only is he bi-special but he is also bi-sexual. His form shows a union of two natures, the divine nature of god
and the nature of beast within man, or the struggle between knowledge and desire which we call conscience. He was part man
and part goat, showing the dichotomy between the knowledge of good and evil which reside in all men.
Pan was a lover of the arts, and sciences. He loved music and dancing as the
divine would. He was also a trouble maker who loved his wine and sexuality, and to play tricks and punish those that did not
love him as the beast would. He was a narcissistic self loving god. Pan was the dread and fear of all people causing "pandemonium"
everywhere he went.
Charles Darwin was a trained theologian and as his father Erasmus was, Charles
was also a pantheist, a student of biology (nature) and their behaviors (natures), the union of the divine with the natural.
Is this starting to sound familiar? Pan was a myth!
Even though Charles Darwin is considered the father of evolution, this theory
existed long before Darwin ever wrote origin of
the species. The theory of evolution has its roots in the pantheism of Greek mythology. It too is a myth!
The theory of evolution is not the goal but only the means to reestablish pantheism
as the religion of the world. Many think pantheism is the worship of nature, but this couldn't be any further from the truth.
Pantheism is the worship of self as god, the divine beast.

Apostasy
Apostasy
A renunciation
or abandonment of a former loyalty; to fall away
This is a necessary but difficult letter
to write. It is difficult as in heart breaking. As I look into the world and see all the evil in it, it has become obvious
that we are living in the last days as foretold in the scripture. There has always been evil in the world, so that in itself
is not proof of the last days. The apostasy of believers however is proof. The rise of false prophets and false teachers that
are leading people further away from the truth of God is found everywhere you look. Of course I believe that the greatest
contribution to this falling away and unfaithfulness to God, in the churches, is the people don’t truly love God anymore,
coupled with the popular and wide spread teaching of unconditional eternal security.
This doctrine is taught by men that pervert the scripture to their own destruction and the destruction of others.
Though there are many scriptures that disprove
this doctrine, most people do not study the scripture for themselves; therefore they are so easily deceived. It seems much
easier to listen to the doctrines and teachings of men than to labor in the scripture to discern the truth of what is written.
I have included many scriptures in this passage to prove what I am saying. Since there are so many included, yet many more
not stated, I will break them down into sections for discussion.
Jesus warns us
In this section, we see in the parable
of the sower that Jesus gives warning that some would believe on him only to later fall away because of temptations and the
lustful desires of his world. Many want to teach that these people were not born again of the Spirit of God but were instead
false converts. However when you compare this parable to Hebrews chapter 6, you will see the correlation of both passages
to say the same thing. They were believers, partakers of the Holy Ghost being enlightened and yet fall away. Those that fall
away are correlated to those that bear thorns and briars, bring forth no fruit and are cast into the lake of fire, whose end
is to be burned. Then you see these same things explained again in John 15. In fact Jesus said “every branch in me”, so these
are definitely true believers, not false converts.
13They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while “believe”, and in time of temptation “fall away”. 14And that which fell among
“thorns” are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are “choked” with cares and riches and pleasures of this
life, and bring no fruit to perfection. (Luke 8, parable of the sower)
1Therefore leaving the
principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us “go on unto perfection”; not laying
again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, 2Of the doctrine of baptisms, and
of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. 3And this will we do, if God permit.
4For it is “impossible for those who were once enlightened”,
and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made “partakers of the Holy Ghost”,
5And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, 6If they “shall fall away”, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh,
and put him to an open shame. 7For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth
forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God: 8But that which “beareth thorns and briers” is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; “whose end is to be burned”. (Hebrews 6)
1I
am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. 2Every branch in me that beareth
not fruit he “taketh away”: and every branch
that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. 3Now ye
are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. 4Abide in me, and I in
you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
5I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same
bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. 6”If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather
them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned”. 7If ye abide in me,
and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. 8Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. (John 15)
Believers’ names removed from book of life
In the first passage it is stated that
those whose names are not written in the book of life will be cast into the lake of fire, followed by two specific warnings
concerning why a persons name would be removed from this book. That would be because of defilement by sin and false prophecy.
Again, this was written to the church which makes it clear that we are talking about true believers fallen away. Also, your
name can’t be removed from the book of life until it’s first written in the book.
15And whosoever was “not found” written in the “book of life”
was cast into “the lake of fire”. (Revelations 20)
4Thou
hast a few names even in Sardis which have “not defiled their garments”; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.
5He that “overcometh”, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will “not blot out
his name out of the book of life”, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his
angels. (Revelations 3)
19And
if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part “out of the book of life”, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
(Revelations 22)
False Prophets
I could spend a week writing about
everything written in the scripture about false prophets and the dangers they present to those that follow them. This is why
we warned so diligently to search out the scriptures ourselves to discern the truth. But as with most warnings, men neglect
to hear and give heed to them. How are these people, false prophets, so easily able to seduce others to follow them? Outwardly
they appear righteous. These men are sincere in what they teach. There’s an old saying that a man who tells a lie as though
it were the truth, is more convincing than a man that tells the truth as though it were a lie. So these men are bold in their
deceptive doctrines. Also these men play on the pride and lust of others making all kind of promises to people that are not
truth. Who doesn’t want everything for nothing? Who wouldn’t want to live in a world filled with pleasure and every indulgence
and then go to heaven also? People love to follow a promise, true or not. These are the people that bring about the apostasy.
15Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 16Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 17Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth
good fruit. 19Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast
into the fire. 20Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. (Matthew
7)
1But there were false
prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies,
even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. 2And many shall follow their
pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. (2 Peter 2)
1This know also, that
in the last days perilous times shall come. 2For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud,
blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers,
incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than
lovers of God; 5Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 6For
of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 7Ever
learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. 8Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so
do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. 9But they shall proceed no
further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was. (2 Timothy 3)
Specific warning of Apostasy
It seems that I have now reached the main
point of this letter. The previous points were necessary in proving that the apostasy refers to the falling away, turning
away, of believers from the truth of God to their own destruction. Most people in the churches today are not apostates. They
never did obey the truth. They were brought into the churches by lies and deceptions of false teachers and have been brainwashed
into believing lies from the beginning. The warnings of the apostasy are specifically talking of those that are partakers
of the Holy Ghost and afterward turn their hearts away from God. There is no more hope for them. They abandoned God. They
were warned, rebuked and chastised by God for their turning away and they refused to repent when rebuked. Now God will cast
them away, their names removed from the book of life and be reserved for the lake of fire with the devil and his angels.
1Now the Spirit speaketh
expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
2Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; (1 Timothy 4)
16They profess that they
know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate. (Titus
1)
1Now
we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, 2That
ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of
Christ is at hand.
3Let no man deceive you
by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed,
the son of perdition; 4Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so
that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. (2 Thessalonians 2)
14And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness,
the beginning of the creation of God; 15I know thy works, that thou art neither
cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. 16So then because thou art lukewarm,
and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. (Revelations 3)
The promises of God fulfilled in the faithful
There is however great hope to them that
remain faithful to God and His son Jesus.
These are the people that hear the word
of God and obey it. These people are diligent to search the scripture and follow the truth of God. They no longer love this
world, the pleasures of it or their own life unto the death. These are the people that bear witness of the truth and are persecuted
for it. They will never turn away from God in betrayal. They look not on what is, but on what is to come. They are running
the race in hope of the prize for faithfulness. They never look back. There are no regrets. They are called, chosen and remain
faithful to the end. There will be multitudes of peoples from every nation that will suffer many things in love for God the
Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. These are those that truly love the Lord with all their heart and God will bless them.
9But as it is written,
Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them
that love him. (1 Corinthians 2)
8Yea
doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I
have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,
9And be found in him,
not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which
is of God by faith: 10That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings,
being made conformable unto his death; 11If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead. 12Not
as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which
also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. 13Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one
thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, 14I
press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 3)
9After
this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues,
stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; 10And cried with
a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb. 11And all the angels
stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces,
and worshipped God, 12Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and
might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.
13And one of the elders
answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they? 14And I said unto
him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes,
and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. (Revelations 7)
14These shall make war
with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are
called, and chosen, and faithful. (Revelations 17)
I hope that in some manner that I
have been able to stir your hearts to love and obedience to God in all things. All the pain, suffering, rejections and losses
suffered for your love to God are all worth it. If only you would believe the truth. May God bless you and grant unto you
understanding.

Empirical Evidence
Empirical
Evidence
A central concept in science and the scientific
method is that all evidence must be empirical, or empirically based, that is, dependent on evidence or consequences that are
observable by the senses. Empirical data is data that is produced by experiment or observation. In this sense of the word,
scientific statements are subject to and derived from our experiences or observations. (Wikipedia)
Originating in, relying on, or based on
factual information, observation, or direct sense experience: based on observation; also: subject to verification by observation
or experiment. (Merriam-Webster)
These statements need only a little explaining.
Primarily empirical evidence pertains to those things that are directly observed by the five senses. Alternatively it is also
used in context to the data directly observed during experimentation. This still involves observation by the five senses.
It’s important to correlate empirical or
scientific data and evidence to what is known as direct evidence in contrast to circumstantial evidence. Anytime you witness,
see an event actually taking place that is called direct evidence. Circumstantial evidence are a collection of facts that, when considered together, can be used to infer a conclusion about something unknown. It is usually a theory, supported by a significant quantity of corroborating evidence.
The theory of evolution is just that, a
theory. No one has ever seen or witnessed an evolutionary process actually taking place, nor can it be duplicated or observed
by experiment. Therefore there is no empirical evidence of evolution resulting in the term “theory of evolution”. Evolution
is an unknown, inferred as a conclusion by indirect or circumstantial evidence. The theory of evolution is based on the ideology,
philosophical concepts, of Charles Darwin as declared in his writings on the origin of species. Charles Darwin never witnessed
an evolutionary process nor was he able to duplicate or observe one by scientific experimentation. This is also an example
of what is termed blind faith, to believe in something without evidence.
Today Charles Darwin has many disciples,
students of his theories called evolutionary biologist. His students also have never witnessed an evolutionary process nor
have been able to duplicate and observe such a process by the scientific method. Not only do these students lack in empirical
evidence, they also lack in intellectual honesty. I have repeatedly heard the disciples of Darwin claim that they have observed,
tested and proven the theory of evolution by the scientific method. That is obviously a lie even to the unlearned. How could
you witness and observe something that supposedly happened over millions of years before you were ever born?
To be completely persuaded to believe in
an unknown event that supposedly occurred millions of years ago without direct evidence is a great big leap of blind faith.
If science can only observe natural material in its current state, how can they prove origin of that material? They can’t.
At best, scientist can only infer, by theory, that it was possible. Their circumstantial evidence, at best, can only prove
what is, not from whence it came.
Over the greater portion of its long scholarly
history, the particular form of human observation, reasoning, and technical deployment we properly term “science” has relied
at least as much on subjective experience and inspiration as it has on objective experiments and theories. Only over the past
few centuries has subjectivity been “progressively” excluded from the practice
of science, leaving an essentially secular analytical paradigm. (Robert G. Jahn, Ph.D, is Professor Emeritus of Aerospace
Sciences at Princeton University, and
Dean Emeritus of The School of Engineering and Applied Science.)
It seems that even the definition of science
and the scientific method is evolving. How convenient. (Ken Tyner)
I want to discuss briefly the statement
“faith vs. reason”. There is a term commonly used by both scientist and theologians as blind faith. Both define the term in
the same manner as believing in something without evidence. This is common in discipleship of religion, philosophy and science.
Anytime you believe something is true just because it has been stated as true is blind faith. That applies to all of us. I
have no problem with this terminology because I use it myself.
What I do have a problem with is the statement
that all faith is blind as declared by evolutionary biologist such a Richard Dawkins and philosophers such Sam Harris and
Daniel Dennett and journalist such as Christopher Hitchens. So their argument
is that science is based on reason but religion is based on faith. This only proves that education and intelligence are not
the same.
It’s amusingly difficult to find
a descent definition of Reasoning apart from a dissertation on the various forms of reasoning. I really wanted to keep this
simple for everyone. The simplest definition is as follows: the power of the mind by which man attains truth or knowledge.
What is not defined here is the ability to gather information, analyze it and draw a conclusion from it in a logical format.
The question with reasoning is the goal and processes. Are you trying to prove a theory or find the truth? The answer to this
question will dictate the processes. Finding the truth requires intellectual honesty, but proving a theory doesn’t.
It’s also amusingly difficult to find a
descent definition of faith. Most of the definitions found was from a secular source and is not at all consistent with biblical
script. I think this is where so many secularists go astray. They don’t know what faith is outside of believing in something
that can’t be proven by fact. However that definition has nothing to do with what faith is. The truth is that faith is to
believe or be persuaded to believe by argument or plea; to persuade by reason. It’s really humorous when you understand that
faith is the end product of reason. This applies to religion, philosophy and science.
Have you ever heard an evolutionary biologist
say that they do not “believe nor are persuaded” in support of their evolutionary theory? Of course not. What they say is; the “reason” we “believe” in evolution is as follows. I am laughing now. Their own statements
prove their “faith” in the unknown and unproven theory of evolution.
Now, I am going to use some biblical terms
associated with reasoning and learning, followed by a few short passages, showing the usage of these terms in their own context.
Hearing, thinking, understanding, perceiving,
knowing, reasoning, senses, discerning, skill, study and teaching are just a few words used in how faith is derived.
17So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. (Romans
10)
15Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman
that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 16But
shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness. (2 Timothy 2)
20O Timothy, keep that
which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:
21Which some professing have erred concerning the faith. (1 Timothy 6)
10And
he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and
understand: 11Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.
12Then came his disciples, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the
Pharisees were offended, after they heard this saying? 13But he answered and said, Every
plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up. 14Let them
alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And
if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch. 15Then answered Peter and said unto him, Declare
unto us this parable. 16And Jesus said, Are ye also yet without understanding? 17Do not ye yet understand,
that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught? 18But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.
19For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts,
false witness, blasphemies: 20These are the things which defile a man: but
to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man. (Matthew 15)
39And
he spake a parable unto them, Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch?
40The disciple
is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master. 41And
why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s
eye, but perceivest not the beam that is in thine
own eye? 42Either how canst thou say to thy brother, Brother, let me pull out the
mote that is in thine eye, when thou thyself beholdest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly
to pull out the mote that is in thy brother’s eye. (Luke 6)
23And when he was come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came unto him
as he was teaching, and said, By what authority doest thou these things? and who
gave thee this authority? 24And Jesus answered and said unto them, I also will ask you
one thing, which if ye tell me, I in like wise will tell you by what authority I do these things. 25The baptism of John, whence was it? from heaven, or of men? And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say unto us, Why did ye not then believe
him? 26But if we shall say, Of men; we fear the people; for all hold John as a prophet. 27And they answered
Jesus, and said, We cannot tell. And he said unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do
these things.
28But what think ye? A certain
man had two sons; and he came to the first, and said, Son, go work to day in my vineyard. 29He answered and said, I will not: but afterward he repented, and went. 30And
he came to the second, and said likewise. And he answered and said, I go, sir: and went not. 31Whether of them twain did the will of his father? They say unto him, The first. Jesus saith
unto them, Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you. 32For John came unto you in the way of righteousness,
and ye believed him not: but the publicans and
the harlots believed him: and ye, when ye had
seen it, repented not afterward, that ye might believe him. (Matthew 21)
10Called
of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec. 11Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered,
seeing ye are dull of hearing. 12For when for the time ye ought to
be teachers, ye have need that one teach
you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are
become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. 13For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. 14But strong meat belongeth to them that
are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. (Hebrews 5)
Well,
if you have been paying attention, then you too see that reasoning is the method by which you derive a conclusion. This conclusion
is what you believe. What you believe is called faith. The evidence for creation and evolution are both circumstantial. None
of us are eye witnesses to either event. Most of the scientific evidence purported is used to support both diametrically opposed
conclusions. An important distinction though is that the evolutionists have no eye witness testimony, only the theory of one
man, Charles Darwin. Creationists have the eyewitness testimony of God given to us by his prophets. We have 66 letters written
by 40 men over a 1500 year period. 39 of those letters are eye witness testimonies by the several Apostles, to the resurrection
of Jesus Christ. Several areas of science give supporting evidence to the claims of the scripture. That would be chemistry,
biology, archeology, geology and behavioral sciences. We also have a genealogical record from Adam to Jesus Christ and also
historically supporting evidence. So to say that faith is to believe in something without evidence is nothing less than ignorance
of the truthful facts.

What is XML?
A feed, also known as RSS feed, XML feed, syndicated content, or web feed, is frequently
updated content published by a website. It is usually used for news and blog websites, but can also be used for distributing
other types of digital content, including pictures, audio or video. Feeds can also be used to deliver audio content (usually
in MP3 format) which you can listen to on your computer or MP3 player. This is referred to as podcasting.
