OUR GUIDING PRINCIPLES

Our code is fraternal brotherhood in all that the term inplies.

Our social conscience is shaped by the laws of God.

Our civil conduct by the laws of the nation.

Our foundation, an indestructible love for both.

Explanation of the Shield:

shield1.jpg

The arm and hammer symbolize the power and strength that united American citizens can wield, when their arms are raised in defense of their American heritage, and when they are ever ready to strike with hammer-like force, against any and all individuals or groups, that may threaten to destroy our American way of life!

The
compasses
in our emblem symbolize Deity, and constantly remind us that we should endeavor to shape our lives into true and perfect circles, that the Supreme Being selected, for the shape of the heavenly bodies that was flung into the endless expanse of the universe.

The
square
in our emblem, teaches us that it is our duty, to make our words and our deeds square with each other in all our relations with our fellow members and that no distinctions, or discriminations, should ever exist, because of one brother's or sister's financial success and worldly attainments, or another brother's or sister's lack of them.

The
shield is emblematic of the protection that surrounds the individual in the exercise of his liberties under our form of government, and it also symbolizes our Order's purposes, to shield American institutions and American citizens from every menacing peril.
