Infocom's response to my inquiry as to where The Status Line had gone

February 20, 1990

Dear Valued Customer:

Thank you for your interest in Infocom's Status Line/New Zork Times/ZQ. We are sorry to inform you that we will no longer be producing a quarterly (well, sort of quarterly) newsletter; nor do we have back issues available. Due to our recent restructuring [[the final closure of Infocom by Activision]], we have opted to focus all of our time and effort on producing the highest quality interactive fiction games.

For a catalog of our newest games, send a letter or postcard with your name, address, and computer system to:

CATALOG REQUESTS
P.O. Box 8123
San Francisco, CA, 94128

or call 1-800-227-6900 and ask the operator for a catalog of Infocom products.

You can also keep current on what's new at Infocom (via modem) by contacting us on one of the bulletin board services we are active on, including GEnie, CompuServe, AppleLink, PCLink, and QLink. Of course, we also have an area on the MEDIAGENIC bulletin board, at 1-(415)-329-7684. Or feel free to call us in person at 1-(415)-329-7630 between 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., PST, Monday through Friday.

Infocom strives to provide the best possible products and the highest level of service, and we encourage you to write to us at the address above if you have any further comments regarding either.

Once again, thanks for your interest!

Sincerely,

Consumer Services
Infocom
