The Kirkland Jaycees are involved in many community programs, local, statewide, and international. Community Development (CD) provides the benefits of leadership training through community service. You will have the opportunity to get involved in projects like:
  • Sports Programs (Punt, Pass & Kick, Diamond Skills)
  • Social Issues (Adopt-A-Family, Health Issues, Senior activities)
  • Environmental Issues (Park Beautification, Adopt-A-Road)
  • Governmental Issues (The Law Making Process, Get Out The Vote)
  • Local Community Programs (Taste of Kirkland, Parades, Festivals)
  • Raising Money (Bowl-a-thons, Walk-a-thons, Telethons)
  • Halloween Haunted Houses
  • Visiting other Chapters events (Boat cruises, Fireworks sales, Christmas trips)
