The purpose of Overlake Christian Preschool is to provide quality early childhood education, loving care and enriching experiences in a warm, Christ-centered environment. We believe each child is created by God as a special, unique person. We recognize that the development of the child is an individual process. We offer a stimulating and encouraging learning environment where each child can experience success. Individual and small group activities are provided daily.

Our program emphasizes an educational experience that acknowledges the unique abilities of each student and provides an environment that maximizes their growth. Our goal is the development of each child, socially, physically, intellectually and spiritually. Communication, self-expression, creativity and growth of a positive self-image are fostered by providing a well-rounded, age-appropriate learning environment for each child.

Our teachers guide the children as they explore, observe, discover, manipulate, express and experiment. We use a hands-on, theme-based curriculum that integrates arts and academics. Letter recognition, phonics, writing skills, math concepts and an awareness of science and creation, while introduced at the preschool level, are primarily taught in Kindergarten.
