I listed a few of my favorite sweet tooth recipes below, you'll note that the term sugar free does not appear on this page. These recipes are for that time when only an unhealthy, sugar laden snack will hit the spot.

1 Cup Shortening or Margarine 1 Cup Sugar 1 Cup Brown Sugar
1 Teaspoon Vanilla 2 Eggs 2 Cups of Flour
1 Teaspoon Soda 1/2 Teaspoon Baking Powder 1 Teaspoon Salt
1 1/2 Cups Oats 2 Cups Rice Krispies Cereal

Mix and blend shortening, sugars, eggs and vanilla. Add dry ingredients. Drop onto cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes. Let cool, then devour greedily.

2 Eggs 3/4 Cups Sugar 2/3 Cups Oil
2 Tablespoons
Vanilla extract
2 Cups Flour 2 Teaspoons Baking Powder
1/2 Teaspoon Salt

Beat eggs with fork until blended. Stir in oil and vanilla. Blend in sugar. Mix well, add dry ingredients and mix well with spoon. Drop on ungreased cookie sheet sprinkle with sugar-cinammon mixture or colored sprinkles. Bake at 350 degrees for ten minutes or until light brown. Do not use a mixer! Let cool and let the good times roll!!






2 Cups Cornflakes 1 Cup Peanut Butter
1/2 Cup Granulated Sugar 1/2 Cup White Karo Syrup
1 Teaspoon Vanilla

Blend sugar, Kayro syrup and vanilla, simmer until boiling a slow as possible. Remove from heat and add peanut butter, mix well. Then add Cornflakes, mix well and drop by teaspoon-full onto wax paper, let cool. Then eat until you can't move.

Excellent Munchies




6 Cups Flour 1 Pound Butter 1 Dozen Eggs
2 Tablespoons Vanilla Extract 2 Cups Sugar 1 Pound Brown Sugar
Dash of Salt

Mix all ingredients (except flour) well with blender. Add flour slowly. Mix well. Drop by spoonfuls onto waffle iron or griddle. Cook until light brown. Cooking spray is helpful to prevent sticking. Let them cool and then be amazed at how addictive they are. Not to mention how great they go with hot chocolate.




2 Large Packages Philadelphia Cream Cheese
(do not let cheese soften)
1/4 Green Pepper Chopped Finely
1 Tablespoon Onion Chopped Finely 1 Cup Crushed Pineapple Drained
Salt to Taste 1/2 Package Crushed Pecans

Mix all ingredients (This is best done by hand mixing). Form into cheese ball and cover entire cheese ball with crushed pecans. Refigerate. For a more festive appearance use green and red peppers together and double recipe. Remember too, everything sits better on a Ritz. Sit back and ignore the groans from the scale, this is a diet killer.
The Cheese Ball Is To Die For




1/2 medium banana 1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 low fat milk 4 ice cubes
1 1/2 tsps chocolate syrup

Blend all except ice cubes on high until blended. Add ice cubes one at a time.




2 eggs 2 cups sugar
2 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. vanilla
1 can pinapple, crushed, including juice 1/2 cup chopped nuts
2 cups flour 1 cup coconut (optional)

Mix liquid ingredients together along with creamed eggs and sugar. Then add nuts and coconut (if used). Flour is the last item to be added. Bake in 350 degree oven for 35 minutes or until golden brown. (Bake in 13x9x2 greased pan).

Icing
1 8oz. pkg. cream cheese 1/2 cup softened butter
1 1/2 cup powdered sugar 1 tsp. vanilla

Mix together and spread on cake as soon as taken from the oven or can wait 20 minutes until cake is cooled.

1 cup white sugar 6 cups Special K Cereal
1 cup white syrup 1 cup chocolate chips
1 cup peanut butter

Boil sugar and syrup to a rolling boil. Remove from heat and add peanut butter. Mix well. Pour over cereal in large mixing bowl and mix until the cereal is coated. Melt chocolate chips in microwave about 2-3 minutes and spread over the top of cereal after it is pressed into buttered 9x13 inch pan. Let cool.



4 3oz pkgs cream cheese 1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs Vanilla Wafers
1/2 cup sugar

Mix cream cheese, eggs, vanilla and sugar in bowl. Line each muffin pan with baking cups. Place a vanilla wafer in each cup. Fill each cup 3/4 full with cream cheese mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Makes 12-14. These may be topped with cherry pie filling or other toppings if desired.






1 can Eagle Brand 2 tsp vanilla
2 boxes confect. sugar 2 sticks butter, unmelted
2 cup finely chopped pecans 1 12oz pkg. semi-sweet chips
1-2 cans coconut 1 inch square parafin wax

Mix together the above. Put in fridge until candy is really stiff. Roll into small (1 inch) balls. Then put the balls into the freezer in tupperware containers. Once they are hard you can make the candy.

Melt wax in microwave. Add choc chips and stir until chips are melted. Stick candy balls with toothpick and dip into chocolate. Place on waxed to cool and harden.
