Andrew Cope,born in Virginia in 1781 and died in White Co,Tennessee in 1862,was the brother to William and James. He was once thought of being a cousin to James and possibly Sarah, but through DNA tests, this was proven false. He was first married to Sarah Wallace,then to Elisabeth Mason.
