After breakfast, we headed to Rothenberg-on-der-Tauber. This city was spared from destruction during World War 2, and has its old city wall completely intact. We saw many old buildings, and the wives did lots of shopping. It is rather touristy, but was worth the visit. After returning to Rentzen, we had a birthday party for Albert, complete with a cookout and birthday cake, and plenty of beer.
