Abtweiler

Entering the village of Kirschroth, located in Rhineland-Pfalz, east of Bad Krueznach. This vilalge is the birthplace of my ancester Anna Maria Schlarp, who was born in 1680. The area has been settled since before the Roman times.

The village of Desloch, which was the last place my Gebhart's lived beofre immigrating to America in 1736. We by chance ran inot a nice lady who told us that there were still Gebhart's living in the village. The church, not pictured, dated from 1748, a decade after my ancestor left.
