In 1989 I purchased two Mazda Miata’s, one Red and one Blue. I have never enjoyed any car as much as the Miata
and have spent many years searching for ultra low mileage examples. In 1992 Mazda offered a Sunburst Yellow version. Although
Mazda had a difficult time selling them when they were new they have now become one of the most sought after Miata’s
made. I did not purchase one of these rare cars in 1992 but began searching for one in 1996. After five years of searching
for a sub 10,000-mile example I finally found one in April of 2001 with 1509 original miles. This is one of the few factory
hardtop cars and is likely the lowest mileage original in existence. As you can see the mileage has reached 2931 miles. The
Red car you see here is my other 1992. This car has 7846 original miles and includes the spoiler package that was later part
of the "R" package cars. I hope you enjoy this site and I will update it with new additions as I find them. Well some time
has passed and I have added a new member to the group. The 1993 Miata you see here is a very rare Black and Red LE. This particular
car has 4787 original miles. This car was purchased new at Davy Mazda in Lynn Mass. The original owner retained all of the
special items that came with the LE including the original key fob indicating this is number 314 of 1500, red boot and tonneau,
red floor mats, MSSS radio cover, all shipping documentation, owners manual and original window sticker showing the price
of $22,000 plus $350.00 shipping. I hope you enjoy the pictures and I will be back hopefully soon with a low mileage Mariner
Blue. Well it is time to update this page. I recently sold the '93 LE with just over 4800 miles. One of the things that I
was very reluctant to part with were the BBS wheels as I thought they really make a big difference in the appearance of the
early Miata. Since I could not keep the set on the LE I looked for a near new set. Fortunately a gentleman who had owned a
'92 black and tan removed his set with roughly 5000 miles and ended up selling his Miata some years later but kept the wheels.
I was fortunate enough to be able to purchase these wheels and after mounting a new set of Bridgestone RE92's and having the
weights installed on the back of the wheels they are now on my 8000 mile "92 Red "A". Here are some pictures with the new
wheels. Click on the tab on the left to see the new pictures. Enjoy!
