Baltic Campaign 2009 (packaged, Stand-Alone) is here, and here and here .
This is a 40-mission fictional campaign that takes place from July 06, 2009 to September 22, 2009. The campaign is based on the default Baltic Campaign 2009, but with many customizations.
Unlike some other usnraptor campaigns that require the Playset to run, Baltic Campaign 2009 is now a stand-alone campaign set. This means it is designed to run solely in a default Fighters Anthology installation that has been properly patched to version 1.02. {For gallery pictures, scroll down.}
{Note: this updated stand-alone version is NOT in the current Playset. It will be included in the next Playset release.} Be sure to read the installation instructions found inside the .zip file, labeled READ ME .txt .
Campaign Features:
- Player flies seven different aircraft and six different mission types for NATO.
- All missions posted as both Single Missions and Campaign Missions.
- Fairly semi-moderate missions, making this a fun campaign for semi-experienced FA players.
- Player's aircraft is pre-armed and fueled with the "ideal" mission loadout, for every mission.
- Player guides giving a brief mission description and goals, labeled "Baltic NATO 2009 mission desc".
- Ten special codes used. (example: "This is Aeroflot Flight 261. Emergency!")
- A collection of shapes/textures from a multitude of user mods.
- Introduction of the Su-30 Flanker-H and Yak-130 Mitten.
- New and/or improved aircraft, ordnance, ships, and weapon systems.
Campaign development history :
Pre-2016, at some point of playing Fighters Anthology over the years, I decided to revise the campaign by removing the fantasy aircraft (X-31, X-32, etc...) and replacing them with operational aircraft and weapons.
March 18, 2016, published my original website. Available in it was all of my modified files, including the modified Baltic Campaign 2009.
May 04, 2018, published the very first Playset (v 1.0). The Playset was all the files I currently used, at the time, to play Fighters Anthology, including the modified Baltic Campaign 2009. The Playset and the campaigns were modified / updated various times throughout the next several years.
June, 2024, with the Playset breaching the Fighters Anthology 'total file limit', it was decided to convert all campaigns to stand-alone projects. Baltic Campaign 2009 was chosen 10th in line for conversion.
May 21, 2026, upon completing the conversion for the Ukraine Campaign 1994 set, I began work on a major overhaul of the Baltic 2009 campaign. The goal was to bring the campaign up to the new standard of usnraptor campaign builds, allowing for more customization of time period equipment and capabilities.
August 22, 2026, Baltic Campaign 2009 is published as a stand-alone project, along with this website. It is the last campaign to be published on USNRaptor's original website.
