Paul Andrews was born in Pennsylvania, U.S. the grandson of immigrant coal miners. At an early
age he developed a love of writing. Quite by accident, he stumbled across Count Saint-Germain while reading an
old book on historical mysteries. Curiosity became a passion and he spent the next decade researching
and writing about the life of the enigmatic Count.
Writing was his first love but not his first career. After earning a Master of Science degree from
Rutgers University, he has worked in New York City and Washington D.C. as a research scientist, college instructor
and project manager before settling in the Piedmont area of North Carolina. Paul lives with his wife, two
children and two cats in Durham, NC.
