Things to consider..

Roman’s 12:1-2 says: "Therefore, I urge you, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—This is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—His good, pleasing and perfect will."

God’s will for our lives is to reflect the love of Christ, to show mercy as he would do, to be so transparent that his love is easily shown. He was at home with sinners yet He himself lived a higher standard. It was His unspoken holiness that speaks the loudest. To do that, we cannot be conformed by the patterns of this world but only when we allow God to transform us into His image. We do that when we allow the word of God to change us, we do that when we come to grips with who we are in Christ and are comfortable with that and we do that when we allow others to be who they are, whether they look or act like us or not….A quiet, unpretentious witness is more powerful than a loud obnoxious one will ever be. The world needs to see that we walk what we talk before they ever hear what we have to say…
