(Next set of young 'uns are now 4 months old
and ready for eager new owners (April 2010), 5 Fawn bucks,
1 Fawn doe.) I am presently only breeding Fawns.
ALL my rabbits are fully pedigreed! I do not sell them
until they are 4 months old, so you have a much better idea of the quality of the rabbit you are getting, and they are old
enough to begin showing. It also means I have poured a lot of $$ worth of feed down their greedy gullets! :) My
Show Rabbits meet or exceed the weight growth chart (see below) for their age, which means they are 90% guaranteed to make
their minimum show weight. They are free from Disqualification flaws, or major point-losing flaws. They should
do well on the show table. But of course, they can never be guaranteed to win! If the rabbit has already won a
GC Leg, it will, of course, cost you more, as will the strength of its pedigree. My Pet Rabbits are healthy
happy hand-raised bunnies that may not be showable due to size, color or other disqualifications. They should not be
shown or bred. Neutered Flemish make the coolest, most friendly pets in the world! They can be litter trained
as house pets. And, if you put a leash (with shoulder harness) on them, they will be so kind as to take you for a hop! Brood
quality rabbits have excellent potential as brood stock, but either have a borderline DQ, or a fault(s) big enough to not
be competitive on the table, such as lack of balance. However, in other show point categories, they have excellent to
outstanding qualities worth breeding into your herd. (For example, a buck may be very wide and have fabulous fur, but
be too short. Breed him with a long doe, and you could end up with some very large, well proportioned bunnies! )
I recommend these for 4Her's without deep pockets. "Pick of the litter" is the very best bunny out of each litter.
It is THE one I want to keep to improve my herd, and win GC legs and sweepstakes points with. Since I really don't want
to sell it, it is gonna cost you! The more I like it, and the more GC legs it has won, the more it is gonna cost you.
Remember the Robert Redford movie, "Indecent Proposal"?
NOTE: (10 April 2010) To all those shocked by the sudden price change, feed has gone from
$7.99 a bag to $12.99 a bag....
(I went to the Afghanistan side of the world for 2 1/2 years, when I came back, the world had lost
its mind)
Pet Flemish
$50
Brood Quality Flemish $60 and up Show Quality Flemish
$60 and up Pick of the Litter $80 and up (maybe WAY
up!) I do not ship, but will bring to shows.
Also, these are live feeling animals. I reserve the right to refuse to sell to anyone,
at my discretion. Generally, I will use this to protect my animals from someone I feel may mistreat, or not properly
care for them, for whatever reason. I feel I have the responsibility to ensure my rabbits receive a good home, so expect
to be quizzed and briefed.... :)
I guarantee my animals are healthy on the day of sale. If they die of disease within one
week, I will refund your money, or give you another rabbit. This does not apply if your dog eats it, or you do something
stupid, like give it terminal diarhea by feeding it lettuce. Expect the third degree preceding your receiving your refund.
This is to help us both learn what went wrong, so we don't kill anymore innocent bunnies!
