It started as a short family conversation, "Martinsburg needs a bakery". Then the wheels started turning, we wanted to
share some of our family's tried and true recipes with the area. In November 2003 Sweet Inspirations opened its door with
the purpose of providing Martinsburg with fresh alternatives to the over-processed baked goods. Though much has changed in
our short time being in business, a few things remains the same- all our items are fresh and made on the premises.
Also, we still believe that if you can think it, we can bake it! So try our family's recipe, or bring us your family's favorite
recipe, or we could even come up with a new recipe just for you!

Meet the Cake Artist
Christal Miller is a self-taught cake artist that has been decorating
cakes for ten years. She took a 4-H project at the age of 17 and found that she really enjoyed the creativity that sugar provided. She
began making cakes for friends and family, and sometimes just for the fun of it! Christal lent her talents to a grocery store's
bakery to get through college, but before she graduated the opportunity arrised to create cakes without the grocery store
limitations. She now enjoys designing cakes as individual as each of her customers
