Doug & Char celebrate their 37th Wedding anniversary this year!

Antique dealer's Doug & Char have been collecting antiques and collectibles for the last 30 years. Together Doug & Char have had successful shops such as Simply Country Antiques and The Portland Antique Emporium in Portland MI. A veteren of quaity antique shows and respected members of the national antique community, Doug & Char have gained the confidence of their peers and have enjoyed a loyal following. They have developed a strong following of customers from her instinctive knowledge of Country & Primitive antiques.

In the spring of 2005 Char and Doug Sherman purchased the Breckenridge Antique & Folk art Shows from friends and show originators Sharon Lytle & Frieda Pavlik when it was announced that they were planning their retirement. With the support of the original promotors, the show continues to bring it's customers the integrity and quality it has always been known for. The "Homespun Holiday" show is held the second week in November, and promotes a Christmas theme. The "Promise of Spring" Show is held the last weekend in March and is an Ode to Spring. These one day shows are well known for quality country primitives and enters it's twentieth year in November 2010.
