Richard is Rachel's age, and since she was born in February, and the Census was in July, eith er they were twins or Richard is a mistranscription for Rachel.
According to the info I have (with thanks to my late grandmother), Margaret is the daughter o f William Morrison and Mary Brake. William is the son of Archibald Morrison and Bridget Runy on; Archibald is a son ofAlexander Morrison and Mary (Molly); Alexander is a son of Archibal d Morrison and Mary Fooks/Fuchs [note: my grandmother was uncertain ofMary's maiden name ; I presume Fooks/Fuchs is correct.]. Archibald Morrison apparently moved to Rowan Co., NC f rom Pennsylvania in 1764. Also, Margaret's sister Rachel married one Jacob B. Hersman (Hersh man), b. 8/12/1828.
