Caring
for Your Copper Creations:

Your Copper
Creation will withstand snow and ice. However, it is
advised that you bring your Copper Creation in for
the winter, as the adhesive will last longer. This
also reduces the chance of tree limbs falling on
it--a hazard in my backyard which is home to eight
oak, maple and fir trees.
All copper
is spray treated with a clear coat to prevent the
copper from tarnishing. If you like the green
"patina" look, simply wipe the rod with a
rag dampened with paint thinner or mineral spirits.
If you prefer the shiny look, eventually the clear
coat will break down with time and the elements. It
is advised to recoat the copper every six months in
harsh conditions.
