Here is a gorgeous hammered metal (copper?) and wooden letter holder in the Arts and Crafts style. We have no idea if it is original but both the wood and the metal have a wonderful patina. It is 3 and 1/2" wide by 5" wide by 6 and a bit high. There is a minor 3/16" hairline split in the wooden rim over the duck's back on the two cattail side. The bottom has a cork base that seems to us to have been a later add on. This is just a wonderful example of a "Mission" or Arts & Crafts desk accessory and would make a great addition to any collection.
