Telescopes

Read about my 6 inch f/4.9 Dobsonian telescope containing a homemade primary mirror.

My first telescope, 6 inch f/8 Newtonian on a German equatorial mount, was based on the design in Richard Berry's book Build Your Own Telescope. I used commercial optics for this telescope.

My current project is a 12.5" f/5 Dobsonian. At this time I've nearly completed the mirror polishing stage. I'll report more on this project soon.
