Josephine Gregg, (nee Zbin), 90, of Vermilion, died Thursday, November 23, 2006 in Community Health Partners West after a lengthy illness.

She was born December 7, 1915 in West Park, Ohio and had lived in Vermilion since 1950.

She was member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Vermilion, the Altar Rosary Society, the Secular Franciscans and the Golden Agers.

Survivors include sons, Donald P.Gregg of Fort Wayne , IN, Douglas Gregg of Lutz, FL, Melvin Gregg of Spencer, Denis Gregg of Vermilion, Robert Gregg of Twinsburg and Gregory Gregg of Norwalk; daughters, Joan Pleban of Amherst, Susanne Gregg of Bay Village and Janet Ancog of Vermilion; 27 grandchildren; 36 great grand children; 2 great great grandchildren; brothers, Albert Zbin of Rocky River, and Emil Zbin of Rocky River ; and a sister, Mary LaLonde of Lakewood, California.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Donald Gregg in 1980; her parents, Paul and Mary (nee Novotny) Zbin; son, John Gregg in 1994 and a daughter, Carolyn Bellar in 2005.

Friends may call Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion. A Christian Wake Service will be held at 4:30 p.m.

Prayers will be said at the funeral home Monday at 11 :30 a.m. followed by a 12 noon Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Catholic Church, 731 Exchange Street, Vermilion. Father Jim Holmer, pastor, will officiate. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
