Hi! I'm Bronzie. I know how to get to Homeschool.com for interesting articles and resources for home schoolers.

Hear are some additional sites that you may find interesting or helpful:

Activity/Learning Games Creation

Discovery School's Puzzlemaker - There are a number of interesting things at the Discover School site. Puzzlemaker is an online tool that lets you create a variety of different types of puzzles that you can then use in your home schooling; handy for vocabulary words or important terms or concepts.

Funbrain - Here you'll find a lot of different learning games and activities already done that are sortable by age and grade level.

Home School Rationale/Support

Texas Home Educators - An outstanding page that details some of the history of home schooling. Included are quotes from government figures, Scripture, and court cases. Various statistics are shared that pertain to home schooling and overall, if you only felt good about home schooling before, after reading this page, you should feel great about the effort and sacrifice that you are putting forth.

Washington Homeschool Organization - These wonderful people could've gone in the 'Government/Legal' category as well but since they do a number of other things such as yearly graduation ceremonies and an Annual State Convention and Curriculum Exhibit, I tend to think of them as supportive in more than a legal sense.

Government/Legal

Christian Homeschool Network of Washington - This organization provides information to WA state legislators, agencies, and families about home schooling-related laws, regulations, or concerns. They offer free email alerts to keep individuals informed and have a link on their site to the RCWs related to home school in WA state.

WA Superintendent of Public Instruction : Office of Private Education - Here is the page of WA Home-Based Instruction Regulations, more commonly known as the 'Pink Book,' which in addition to citing RCWs, lists other requirements as specified by state agencies and boards.

Library/Reference

Internet Public Library - Basically an online library, this is the 'Kidspace' area that is aimed at being more appropriate for children's use.

Conglomerate

Teacher Help - Resources of all kinds here including lessons, activities, games, and links.

A to Z Home's Cool Homeschooling - Quite a large site that has many links, articles, methods, and materials to browse through. They also have a section on home school laws by region/state and in fact, by country in case you don't live in WA state as I do. If interested, click here.

Homeschool World - The 'Official Website of Practical Homeschooling Magazine.'
