The Punstrel, 25 Sept., 1998
Greetings, one and all!  This is yet another of those infamous "vanity" web sites...  the main point of which is for me to learn how to build, manage and modify web pages.  On this and the connected pages, you will find examples of my photography and some of my other interests, as well as links to some of my favorite (or at least relevant) sites.  The whole thing is "under construction", and will likely continue to be for a while, so sit back, relax, and enjoy!

"The Punstrel" is a "Nom de Net" that was suggested by a friend due to my long time penchant for puns, love of word play, and musical inclinations.  I generally only use it when I feel that it is appropriate; as when a pun has been either dropped or spotted.  This picture, which includes my Irish Bouzouki, is the most recent portrait that I have (reflective surfaces included at no extra charge!).

I was born in Helena, Montana in 1960 and spent the years between 1962 and 1980 in Southwest Washington (the State, not that silly place on the East Coast!), near Portland, Oregon.  I currently live and work in Everett, Washington (about 30 miles North of Seattle).  I've been a Technical Designer at Boeing since June of 1980, and currently do 3-D design work on CATIA for the 747 and 767 programs.  As the linked pages will show, I have strong interests in Music, History and Photography.  At one time or another I've enjoyed "flat water" kayaking, white water rafting, snowmobiling, four-wheeling, hiking and camping.  I've been "messing around" with computers since around 1975 and am a "voracious" reader, enjoying History and Science Fiction especially.  I'm also something of a "Movie Buff".  My only "room mate" at the moment is Charlie...

Charlie is an Abyssinian/Siamese/American Shorthair mix.  He was born in August of 1990, and has been trained to use the toilet!  His fur is soft as that of a rabbit, and he still seems to think that he's a kitten.
