Groups Meeting at Zion
 
AA Meets Monday and Wednesday evenings at 7pm. They have a "speaker meeting" the third Friday of every month.
 
The Quilters continue to meet Tuesdays.
 
District 348 Wolf Pack meets Monday evening at 6pm.

Amanda and Richard Perry, III, were married Feb. 8th, 2009 during the Sunday Worship service. Their church family along with their families and friends pledged their prayers and support for their future.
 
Pastor David Eidson of Jonesboro was elected Southern Conference Dean at the Spring Assembly in Mount Vernon, IL. Bishop Freiheit presided. Sue Hannuksela and Pastor Karen attended.
 
Roberta Talley, Cherl Quinn (Our Saviour) and Pastor Karen attended a "Go Green" seminar in Springfield on Environmental Justice and Stwardship of the Earth. It was outstanding. Look for more information by Pentcost!
 
Pastor Karen was elected President of the Wabash County Ministerial Alliance. WCMA is looking for suggestions about future ministry efforts in Mount Carmel and Wabash County. If you have any suggestions or questions, contact pastor Karen or see their website at: wabashcountychurches.org
 
New council members were elected at the annual meeting in January. Please give them your prayers and support.
 
Beginning in March, Good Friday Cantata practice will be held Wednesday evening after service. Readers/actors will begin practice Wednesday the 18th.
 
The mission trip to New Orleans begins March 28th through April 4th. Keep our missionaries and all the folks still suffering from the hurricanes in your prayers.
 
 

EVENTS

A group of people from Zion and Our Saviour will be attending the Harlem Globetrotters basketball game in Evansville, IN., Friday, March 13th.

The Joint Council Retreat was postponed due to weather. It has been rescheduled for the last Saturday in April at Our Saviour. This is for both Council and anyone in the congregation interested in discussions about the future of our congregations.

CSIS Assembly dates are June 11-13 at the Crowne Plaza in Springfield, IL.
