1. How do I know what level to put my child in?
Generally we go by age and grade level. After 2nd grade however we
offer classes for those who have never danced before. The classes are by age. These classes will give them
the foundation that is so important to progress at a faster pace.
If you have danced at another studio and are changing to us, start at Level I of the grade level
your child is at. We will determine where they should be within the first month or so.
Being in level I or II doesn't necessarily mean one level is better than the other. We
try to put those who learn the same way together so that they get the most out of out of their instruction.
2. Can I watch my child while they are in class?
We would love to have you attend their first day of class with your child.
This will help them and you feel comfortable with our process. After that we will be offering observation weeks
where you will be able to watch your child in class. These weeks will be posted on the website and at the studio.
Our reasons for not watching each class; it's difficult keeping the student on task when other
things are going on in the waiting room that might distract your child. Please trust that we can handle all situations
with your child. In the event that we need to notify you, we have your contact information at our immediate disposal
and willinform you immediately.
Another reason is having a time spam between viewings you will more likely be able to see your
child's progress.
You are welcome to wait during your child's class in the waiting area, however, the waiting
areas outside of the dance studios are only for students. Their instructor will call them into class at their specified
class time.
3. What does my child need to wear for class and where can I get them?
This information can be found on the classes/registration page of our website.
4. What is Hip Hop, Tap and the other forms of dance?
This information can be found on the classes/registration page of our website.
5. Can my child be in the same class with their friend?
We strive to give your child the best education we can with our instruction.
So this may mean that your child may not be placed with their friends. We are looking out for your child's best interest
and what and how they learn is of our highest priority!
