Dr. Nibert has been providing
comprehensive eye care for more than 25 years in private practice. He has served
as a member and President of the West Virginia Board of Optometry, and as a member of the West Virginia Optometric Association
Executive Board. Twice, he has served as legislative liaison for the WVOA.
Dr. Nibert received his Doctor
of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, as well as a B.S. in Visual Science. In 1998 he received national certification in the Treatment and Management of Ocular Disease through affiliation
with Marshall University Medical
School.
Dr. Nibert twice received Rotarian
of the year honors. He has served Lions Clubs of Mt. Hope, Beaver, Oak Hill,
Fayetteville, Montgomery, and Gauley Bridge for nearly 20 years. He was named a Leonard Jarrett Fellow in 2003 by the West Virginia Lions Sight Conservation foundation,
and given the prestigious the Humanitarian Service Award in 2008.
